Fisherman's Co-operative <<Back At the Co-op, our catches come from one of seven depots located over a 200km area between Tuggerah and Seal Rocks. The Co-op sells about half of the catch locally through our retail shops and the rest goes to the Sydney Fish Markets. At our retail shop we provide fresh seafood to our walk-in customers and we also supply to some of the Hunter’s best restaurants. You can also buy gift vouchers for raffles and functions. At the Wickham store there is a large variety of fresh whole fish, including local Snapper, Bream and Mullet. Resident Chef Greg Hamilton can answer all your seafood cooking questions as well as give you some tasty seafood tips. We also have monthly cooking demonstrations. There is a large variety of fresh fish fillets from the local area and fresh reef fish from the Barrier Reef. There are also prawns and of course, fresh local oysters. |
