Only Place Indian Restaurant <<Back Prawn Pulusu 18 king prawns, green with tails 2 medium onions, chopped 2-3 cloves garlic 2cm ginger 1 tsp tamarind paste 1⁄4 tsp chilli powder 2 tsp coriander powder 2 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp tumeric powder 2/3 cup of coriander leaves 1 spring curry leaves 1 tsp vegetable oil 1 tsp mustard seeds Salt to taste 2 cups cooked basmati rice 1. Chopped onions, garlic cloves, ginger and coriander mixed together make a fine paste. Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame. Add mustard and curry leaves, after sizzling add the paste, stir it for five minutes. Add all the above powders and one cup water. Stir it well. Cook for five minutes, add tamarind paste and king prawns. 2. Serve with rice and roti, optional. Serves 2 |
